How Donations and Grants Work
Donations are made to Global Fund for Assistance Inc., a charitable organization that receives and administers charitable contributions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and its charitable purposes.
Donors may recommend eligible nonprofit organizations, charitable projects, or causes they would like their contributions to support. These recommendations are reviewed by Global Fund for Assistance Inc.; however, all funds remain subject to the organization's oversight, charitable-purpose requirements, recipient eligibility review, and applicable compliance procedures.
Global Fund for Assistance Inc. reviews recommended nonprofit recipients and, when approved, may issue grants or charitable disbursements to support eligible programs and activities. Every dollar is a recommendation — recommendations that become grants.
Donor recommendations are advisory and do not constitute an automatic or legally binding direction to transfer funds to a particular organization. Global Fund for Assistance Inc. retains the discretion and control required to ensure that charitable funds are used for eligible charitable purposes. Fund assets are pooled and administered by Global Fund for Assistance Inc. — not held in individual accounts — and are not insured or guaranteed.
This structure promotes transparency, accountability, and compliance while giving donors the ability to recommend the charitable organizations and causes they wish to support.
All grants and disbursements are subject to the applicable Cause Funds Terms of Use, eligibility requirements, compliance procedures, and charitable giving policies of Global Fund for Assistance Inc..
