Sudan: Conflict & Displacement

The crisis in Sudan has reached a scale that is hard to comprehend. Reports from El Fasher in North Darfur describe mass killings, attacks on hospitals, and the abduction of civilians. Families are fleeing for their lives, often with nothing but what they can carry.

Millions of people across the country have been displaced by the conflict. They are sheltering in schools, camps, and open spaces with little access to food, clean water, or medical care. Disease is spreading in overcrowded settlements, and children are going hungry.

Humanitarian organizations are working under extremely dangerous conditions to deliver aid. They need support to reach families cut off from basic services and to provide the essentials that keep people alive: food, water, medicine, and shelter.
